Modul 2: Black Holes

The emergence of Black Holes „easy“ to understand.

It is an experiment. And it is an attempt at a symbiosis of our passions.

If prose and scientific background create space and time to allow for contemplative enjoying acoustic music and aesthetic images of the universe, then it might also succeeds to „understand“ difficult issues such as black holes in a completely different  way … At worst, it is a beautiful and sensual evening in frame of an audio-visual performance. In the better case something complex is „easily“ understood beyond. This time it’s all about black holes, especially about what it takes to create them in the first place.

At the end of the concert, it is possible to address any outstanding issues.

Less is more: A little dose of physics, with time to understand.

Irena Meister recites her own as well as other texts, in line with the theme presented, sometimes with, sometimes without her own piano accompaniment.

Nikolai von Krusenstiern, astrophysicist & working at the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt (ESOC) explains the fundamental reasons and forces at work & introduces briefly the few, selected and breath taking pictures, and plays guitar and piano.
